At what age should my child have their first eye test?

Some specialists recommend that children can get tested from as young as 6 months old.

However, we recommend that unless you have any concerns about your child's vision then it is perhaps better to wait until they are around 3 and a half years old or so.

Even if your child's vision seems fine or good, we highly recommend that they get a full eye test from our qualified Optometrists when they reach school age, just to ensure there are no vision issues that will affect their early learning school years.
